Hi, I’m Risa Wood. I built my practice on three core values: accuracy, reliability, and a genuine respect for your journey.
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a dream of building a business from the ground up. Because of that, I am constantly humbled by the business owners I meet. Running an operation is not easy—you have to wear so many different hats every single day, and I learn so much from my clients’ dedication and hard work.
Originally from Japan, I grew up with a deep value for a strong work ethic, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail. I brought that focus with me when I studied Law, Business, and Accounting both at a university in Japan and at Central Washington University right here in Ellensburg. Today, my favorite part of this work is getting to know you personally so we can find exactly what works for your business, because no two operations are the same.
There is nothing more rewarding than helping a business owner get back on their feet, giving them their time back, and showing them exactly how their finances are doing so they can finally breathe a sigh of relief. While I love supporting fast-moving businesses, I am especially passionate about partnering with mission-driven non-profits and navigating their unique financial models.
